It would be an entertaining Tuesday night in the Golf in America to feature the life of Walters Golf CEO Bill Walters. The show will take seven minutes to introduce the businessman as well as nosebleed-gambler.
Golf Channel will kick off with the World Poker Tour host as well as Poker News Daily Guest Columnist Mike Sexton, giving a little preview on Walters’ background, “Bill was a big-time gambler. I mean he was the biggest gambler in the country, betting on sports, betting on golf, betting on pool, and doing anything.”
Giving his comment about Walters was Doyle Brunson saying, “He’s legendary for being the best sports bettor in the world.” Joining the conversation was Billy Baxter stating, “beaten sports in the history of the world like [Walters] has.” On the other hand, Walters also open up saying, “Risk taking of any kind is what makes you feel alive.”
Ending the interview, Sexton concluded that, “He’s absolutely the most phenomenal, successful businessman [there is]. He made the transition from the gambling world and hustling to the business side of things. He’s the smartest hillbilly that there ever was.”
